missingArt is part of Creek District Sidewalk Mosaic Program, working with the Creek District Advisory Board, The City of Stuart, and Pelican Central Mosaic Studio.
this is a public art program for everyone!
you’re not a mosaic artist? that’s okay.
you’re ‘not an artist’ of any kind? that’s okay, too.
only one out of the first four sidewalk mosaics was created by an artist with experience at it.
if you have a good idea and the willingness to learn and do a little work, you are a candidate for this program. submit your concept. if you win the contest, we’ll help you make the mosaic. and we will throw you a party once it is installed in the sidewalk.
